Nativity-What Christmas means to me

I just love the peacefulness that is depicted in the Nativity Scene but I am sure for Mary & Joseph it was anything but peaceful. The stress of not being able to find a place to stay in a crowded city like Bethlehem....and in labor I am sure that Mary only wanted to lay down and rest in between the pains of labor. To end up in a stable filled with animals, the stench of animals and the cold of night. But it was in that setting that God bestowed the GREATEST GIFT EVER upon man. A living Savior, God in the flesh, a sacrifice like no other. Let the majesty of God's Grace fill your soul this Christmas and wish our Lord Jesus a Happy Birthday!!
